Exquisite Demeter certified wines from more than 20 countries
Demeter winegrowers will be presenting their products in Hall 5 at ProWein 2022 in Duesseldorf from 15 to 17 May 2022.
The world’s largest leading international trade fair for wines & spirits is taking place again after a two-year break: 15 Demeter winegrowers from Germany, France, Italy and Spain will present their wines at the Demeter joint stand in Hall 5, Stand C20/C24.
“We are very excited and very much looking forward to the personal exchange, stimulating conversations and, of course, tasting together”, Nina Weis from Demeter looks forward to the trade fair. She is pleased that the popular Demeter “stand walks” are also possible again this year. These are guided tastings on different focal points, which the Demeter wine consultant has developed in collaboration with the guest wineries: “Whether on biodynamic top sparkling wines or the “Cool Climate Superstar” Riesling – the tasting walks promise exciting taste experiences with wines from different growing regions.”
There is also an international tasting zone with 61 Demeter wines from 33 wineries from seven countries. “Here, wine merchants can quickly and easily find Demeter wineries worldwide and taste them directly,” explains Nina Weis. This is also a platform for newcomers, so Demeter wine from Romania is represented here for the first time this year, and Demeter wine from Hungary is also back after many years.
