The database is a rich source of information from all over the world. Our, easy to use, product database is a useful tool for farmers and companies looking for new markets. It also lists certified distributors.

Raw Material Coordination

Raw Material Coordination is a free service offered by the Biodynamic Federation Demeter International to Demeter licensees and applicants.
This is a specialist service, providing a complete overview of the raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products that are available (or soon to be available) worldwide.

You can contact our Raw Materials Specialist if you fulfil the criteria below. All requests and information exchanged is treated as confidential.

  • If you are a company – already certified or in the certification process – looking for a raw material/semi-finished product that is not listed in our database or not available, or looking for possible new applicants
  • Should you be a farm – already certified or in the certification process – looking for market opportunities

Building a new Demeter supply chain is a commitment. Many Demeter raw materials can only be grown with a cultivation contract between the farm and the purchasing company. Conversion to Demeter standards takes time. Patience, anticipation and motivation are essential for buyers.
