Demeter contracts along the supply chain

The Demeter market is well structured by reliable supply chains. From both the producer and client’s side, long-term partnerships help to provide a consistent supply of goods for conscious consumers.
To guarantee the integrity of the Demeter® trademark and to ensure the traceability of supply chains, all producers, traders and processors need a valid Demeter contract to use the protected trademark legally.

Trading Demeter Goods

All final product labels of Demeter processed goods provide the necessary information for identification by consumers. Trading Demeter products does not require a license contract, however, advertising and marketing with the Demeter® trademark, does require a contract with the respective Demeter organisation.
